Explanation:

YD505 is a CrMo surfacing welding wire. Due to the high chromium cast iron structure of Cr and Mo carbides in the surfacing metal, the surfacing layer has high hardness and wear resistance, and has good resistance to the wear of sediment and ores.

 

Purpose:

Used for agricultural machinery, mining equipment, and other parts that withstand sand wear and light impact.

Precautions:

  1. Welder parts should undergo oil and rust removal treatment.
    2. During welding, the gas flow rate is generally 20-25L/min.
    When welding with flux cored wire, the dry extension length should be 15-25mm.
    4. Before welding large workpieces, they should be preheated appropriately to around 300 ℃.
    5. The humidity in the welding wire warehouse should be maintained at less than 60%.
    6. The storage time of non vacuum packaged welding wires should not exceed six months, and the storage time of vacuum packaged welding wires should not exceed one year.
