Metallographic Structure of Inconel 625

Inconel625 has a face centered cubic lattice structure. After holding at about 650 ℃ for a sufficient time, carbon particles and unstable quaternary phases will precipitate and transform into stable Ni3 (Nb, Ti)Rhombic lattice phase. The molybdenum and niobium components in the nickel chromium matrix after solid solution strengthening will improve the mechanical properties of the material, but the plasticity will be reduced.
