Explanation:

HT-D998 wear-resistant surfacing electrode is a graphite coated surfacing electrode that uses direct current reverse connection. The arc is relatively stable, with less splashing and slag, and easy slag removal. Even with alloy cutting tools, the surfacing layer is difficult to cut and can only be ground. The metallographic structure is martensite and coarse composite carbides.

 

Purpose:

HT-D998 wear-resistant surfacing welding rod is used in situations where strong wear resistance is required, such as small shafts of roller drills, coal hole excavators, lifting buckets, crusher rollers, pump frame barrels, concrete mixer blades, bulldozer and pump blades, dredger blades, high-speed sand mixing boxes, etc.

Precautions:

1. Before welding, the welding rod must be baked at 300-350 ℃ for 1 hour.
2. The welded parts must be preheated at 400~600 ℃ and the rust, oil stains, etc. on the workpiece must be removed before welding.
3. The length of each overlay welding should not exceed 50-70mm.
4. After welding, the workpiece should be tempered at 600~700 ℃ for 1 hour before slow cooling, or the workpiece should be immediately placed in a dry and preheated sand box or placed in grass ash for slow cooling.
