1、 Introduction

At present, HDPE water supply pipes are expanding and developing in the domestic pipe market, with PE pipes, PP-R pipes, and UPVC pipes all holding a place. Among them, PE drainage pipes are the most impressive development trend. PE water supply pipes are still the most widely used. PE pipes are a huge market for application.

PE resin is formed by the polymerization of monomer ethylene, and due to differences in polymerization reaction conditions such as pressure and temperature difference during polymerization, different resin distributions can be obtained. Therefore, there are also high-density polyethylene, medium density polyethylene, and low-density polyethylene. When processing different types of PE pipes, analyze the differences in their application, adopt different resin grades, and have different requirements for extruders and molds.

2、 Product characteristics of PE pipes:

4. Hygiene: When processing PE polyethylene pipes, heavy metal salt stabilizers are not added, the material is non-toxic, has no scaling layer, and does not breed microorganisms, effectively solving the secondary pollution of urban drinking water.

3、 PE water supply pipe connection method:

1. Electric fusion connection: Select a dedicated electric fusion welding machine to connect the straight pipe and the straight pipe together. Generally speaking, it is used as a tube with a low outer diameter. Steps for electric fusion socket connection:

(1) Pipe cutting: The connecting end of the pipe requires strict vertical segmentation, and there are surplus hot melt zones to be certified.

(2) Cleaning: Specify the insertion depth line at the joint: Use a knife or other object to scrape off the oxide layer on the surface of the pipe and mark the insertion depth line.

(3) Pipe fitting insertion into the pipe: Insert the electric fusion pipe fitting into the pipe to the specified depth, which can be connected to the welding machine and pipe fittings.

(4) Correction: Adjust the position of the pipes and fittings so that they are on the same axis, reducing eccentricity and resulting in unstable joint welding and poor air tightness.

(5) Electric fusion welding: The time and voltage for electric heating should comply with the regulations of the welding machine and the manufacturer of electric fusion pipe fittings, to ensure that the fusion joint is harvested under the correct voltage and heating intention.

(6) Cooling: The PE pipe joint can only achieve its enormous compressive strength after being fully cooled to room temperature. During cooling, other external forces prevent the pipes and fittings from forming the same axis, which can easily interfere with the welding quality. Therefore, during the cooling period, it is not allowed to touch the connected parts or apply any external forces at the connection.

2. Hot melt butt joint connection: A dedicated butt welding machine is used to connect a piece of pipe, usually used as a pipe with a larger outer diameter.

3. Steel plastic connection: flange, threaded thread and other processes can be selected for connection.
