Type circuit breakers are used to distribute electrical energy and protect circuits and power equipment from overload, undervoltage, short circuits, etc.

This type of circuit breaker usually has a steel frame, and all components are installed inside the frame. It has a large capacity and can be equipped with multiple functional releases and more auxiliary contacts. It has high segmentation ability and thermal stability, so it is commonly used in places that require high breaking capacity and selective protection.


Circuit breaker function introduction: The circuit breaker is arranged in a three-dimensional form, and the contact system and the left and right side plates of the instantaneous overcurrent release are installed on a single insulation board. The upper part is equipped with an arc extinguishing system, and the operating mechanism can be installed in front or on the right side. It has "open" and "close" indications and a manual disconnect button. It is equipped with a shunt release in the upper left corner and an undervoltage release connected to the release half shaft on the back. The fast saturation current transformer or current voltage converter is installed on the lower busbar. Undervoltage delay devices, thermal relays, or semiconductor releases can be installed separately below. The DW15-2000, 3200, 4000, and 6300 circuit breakers are arranged in a three-dimensional form, consisting of a frame consisting of a base frame, side panels, and crossbeams. Each phase contact system is installed on the base frame, on which an arc extinguishing chamber is installed. The operating mechanism is located in the front right of the circuit breaker and is connected to the contact system through the spindle. The electric operating mechanism is integrated with the mechanism through a square axis and installed at the bottom of the circuit breaker, serving as energy storage or direct closure of the circuit breaker. The closure after energy storage is undertaken by the energy releasing electromagnet. An anti rebound mechanism is installed above the left panel to prevent the circuit breaker from bouncing when disconnected. Various overcurrent release devices are installed below the circuit breaker according to different requirements. The undervoltage and shunt release devices, as well as the electric operation control part, are installed on the left side. The undervoltage and shunt release devices are connected to the amplification mechanism through the release device to reduce the tripping force of the circuit breaker. 12 pairs of auxiliary contacts are used by users to connect the secondary circuit. The panel has indicator signs "1", "0" and "energy storage" indicating the working position of the circuit breaker, as well as buttons "1" and "0" for closing and opening (both pressed). DW15-1000 and 1600 circuit breakers are equipped with a front manual operating handle; DW15-2500 and 4000 come with manual operation handles for maintenance (can be removed)

It is mainly used to distribute electrical energy and protect circuits and power equipment from overload, undervoltage, short circuit, single-phase grounding and other faults. The circuit breaker has multiple intelligent protection functions, which can achieve selective protection, action, avoid unnecessary power outages, and improve power supply reliability. Under normal conditions, it can be used for infrequent switching of lines. Circuit breakers below 1250A can be used to protect motors from overload and short circuits in a 50Hz AC voltage 380V network. Under normal conditions, it can also be used for infrequent starting of electric motors
