The foundation pit guardrail should comply with the following regulations:
1. The height of the protective railing should not be less than 1.2m;
2. The protective railing should be composed of horizontal and vertical poles. There should be 2-3 horizontal poles, with the lower pole being 0.3-0.6m above the ground and the upper pole being 1.2-1.5m above the ground; The spacing between upright poles should not be greater than 2.0m, and the distance between upright poles and the slope edge should be greater than 0.5m;
3. Protective railings should be equipped with dense mesh safety nets and toe boards. The safety net should be enclosed from top to bottom; The height of the toe board should not be less than 180mm, and the height of the lower edge of the toe board from the ground should not be greater than 10mm;
4. Protective railings should be installed firmly, and the materials should have sufficient strength;
5. A dedicated staircase should be set up inside the foundation pit for construction personnel to get up and down. The staircase should be equipped with handrails, and the width of the staircase should not be less than 1m. The installation of the staircase should meet the requirements of the specifications.
