CO.FO.ME.GRA. Italian horizontal salt spray corrosion resistance test chamber, with 5 models of equipment to choose from: special sizes available upon request from 600 to 200 liters. Salt spray test, condensate test, and cyclic corrosion test can be conducted.

The cabin structure is made of 10mm thick polypropylene as a whole. PPS plastic option, compliant with CSA flame testing. The laboratory adopts double wall insulation. For the 600/1000-liter model (optional for the 2000-liter model), the test chamber can be accessed through a rotatable transparent cover. The control panel and all necessary control equipment are located in an ergonomic right position. The salt solution storage tank is located on the left side. The distribution board is enclosed in a dedicated area: next to it is the area for electric valves, humidifiers, and salt solution dosing pumps. Each component is easy to access and maintenance is simple and fast.

1. Salt spray test:
The corrosive solution becomes a vapor mist through a nozzle located on the back of the chamber. The fog diffusion structure distributes the fog throughout the entire testing area. The compressed air required to generate fog is heated and saturated with water in a pressurized humidifier before reaching the nozzle. According to the capacity of the laboratory, one or more heating elements can ensure uniform temperature in the laboratory. The exhaust gas solution collected at the bottom of the laboratory is discharged to the floor through a drainage pipe. The salt spray test can be conducted on all laboratory models.
2. Condensate test:
The bottom of the laboratory is filled with desalinated water. Water is heated and evaporated to condense on the surface of the sample. The combustion chamber temperature is 40 ° C. The continuous condensation test can be conducted on all laboratory models.
3. Cyclic corrosion test:
A large number of cyclic corrosion tests can be conducted in environments with condensation humidity and air dryness by combining salt spray. Cyclic corrosion testing has become increasingly necessary in recent years. Dry corrosion is the most common popular cyclic test that involves alternating salt spray and air drying. The cyclic test can be conducted using all enhanced model laboratories. Depending on the cycle type, certain options must be installed during the chamber manufacturing process.
