S32760 (F55, 1.4501) is a high alloy super duplex stainless steel mainly used in various highly corrosive environments. S32760 dual phase steel has strong strength and corrosion resistance, mainly used in chemical processing, petrochemical industry, and underwater equipment. It has strong resistance to chloride corrosion, high thermal conductivity, and low coefficient of thermal expansion. The high content of chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen gives it high resistance to spot corrosion, crack corrosion, and other corrosion. The excellent comprehensive properties of S32760 dual phase steel are superior to ordinary dual phase steel, such as 2205, S31803, etc.
S32760 dual phase steel is resistant to various inorganic and organic acids, and its added copper element gives it excellent resistance to non oxidizing acid corrosion. S32760 is also resistant to strong alkaline corrosion. However, S32760 dual phase steel is not suitable for use at long-term operating temperatures above 300 ℃, as the toughness of the material will significantly decrease above this temperature.
