A screw conveyor uses rotating screws to move the conveyed material along a fixed casing for conveying work. The head and tail bearings are moved outside the casing, and the suspension bearings are equipped with sliding bearings and dustproof sealing devices. The bearing shells are generally made of powder metallurgy, and the cement is transported using felt bearing shells. The suspension shaft and screw shaft are connected by sliding blocks.

The bearing pads and intermediate shafts of the screw conveyor are made of high-density wear-resistant alloy steel, with a split structure to eliminate material waste and increase material throughput. They are not oiled and are not used in management. The connection between the intermediate shafts of the GL screw conveyor is a plug-in type connection, which serves as a directional joint. When the intermediate shaft and bearing pads are worn, the effect becomes more obvious, avoiding screw undercutting and collision noise in rigid connections (flange connections).

The cover of the screw conveyor is tiled and clamped onto the casing with a cover buckle. If the sealing performance needs to be improved, users can add waterproof canvas between the cover and the casing themselves.
