1、 Construction method of sound-absorbing coating
1. Basic treatment before construction
One thing that must be done during the construction process of sound-absorbing coatings is to treat the base material. For most paint applications, the substrate treatment steps are cleaning and leveling. But after the substrate treatment before the construction of the sound-absorbing coating is completed, the surface must also be coated with a good layer of white transparent primer, and the next step of construction can only be carried out after the primer is dry.
2. Introduction to the construction process
(1) Batch scraping method: Just like plastering, apply sound-absorbing paint directly to the treated wall surface.
(2) Spray method: Use a stone paint spray gun, keep the muzzle perpendicular to the wall, and evenly spray on the wall. It is recommended to use this method. If two or more color matching effects are required, before the coating dries, spray another type of absorbent paint on the wall.
(3) Double gun spray method: Use a double gun nozzle spray gun and pour two colored suction coating substrates into the spray gun to separate both sides. The operation method is the same as the above spraying method, but only one spraying is required to achieve a dual color effect, which is very beautiful.
3. Spray surface coating: Before the construction materials dry, spray the top coat, add colored metal wire pieces, and directly spray them onto the attractive coating surface using a color spray gun or paint; Note: When the temperature is below 4 ℃, sound-absorbing coatings shall not be used.
2、 Precautions for construction of sound-absorbing coatings
The specified steps must be followed during the construction process. Generally speaking, we should follow the construction sequence from the edge to the middle, and the speed must be uniform to ensure that cracks and different thicknesses do not occur. During construction, gloves, glasses, and masks should also be worn, and waterproof shoes should be used to protect the safety of construction personnel. The construction site must be dry and ventilated.
1. When spraying, pay attention to mastering the operating steps, from the edge to the middle, to achieve the goal of uniform speed, tight overlap, and not easy to fall off, with consistent thickness, no bottom leakage, and no repetition
2. Reference dosage. When spraying 3mm thick, approximately 1kg per square meter (depending on the flatness of the base).
3. It takes about 2.5 hours for spraying to reach a certain setting strength (depending on the construction weather at that time)
4. Due to the alkaline nature of CE, according to recommended safety standards, it is recommended to wear Queen Mother gloves, glasses, masks, waterproof shoes, etc., and follow the ventilation requirements of the recommended work area.
5. Store in a dry and well ventilated storage room.
