1、 Overview

Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) technology is a manufacturing method for composite materials, primarily used for secondary load-bearing structural components such as cabin doors and inspection covers in aircraft. In 1996, the US Bureau of Advanced Research conducted research on RTM manufacturing technology for high-strength main load-bearing components. RTM technology has the advantages of high efficiency, precision, high dimensional accuracy, and low environmental impact. It can be applied to the forming of composite materials with large volume, complex structure, and high strength, and has become one of the active research directions in the field of aerospace material processing in recent years.

The main principle of RTM process is to lay reinforcement materials designed according to performance and structural requirements in the mold cavity (which needs to be pre made into a specific size). Within a certain pressure range, an injection device is used to inject the resin system into the closed mold cavity, and the resin and reinforcement are soaked and solidified to form. The mold has a peripheral sealing and fastening system, as well as an injection and exhaust system, to ensure smooth resin flow and discharge all gases and wetted fibers from the mold cavity; It also has a heating system that can heat and solidify composite material components. It is a forming method that does not use prepregs or hot pressing cans.

The SMART-RTM series dual component RTM injection molding machine is mainly used for automatic metering, proportioning, mixing, and pouring of two component thermosetting resins such as epoxy resin and polyurethane in the composite material RTM process. The SMART-RTM series dual component RTM glue injection machine adopts PLC programming control, intelligent touch screen operation, and equipment operation is simple and easy to learn. According to the performance and process requirements of the rubber material, it is equipped with functional components such as heating, stirring, vacuum defoaming, and pressure detection. The metering system uses a servo motor to drive an imported metering pump to achieve the metering and continuous and stable supply of resin and curing agent. A static mixing device with protection enables uniform mixing of resin and curing agent adhesive.
