1. Impeller and impeller friction

Reason:

(3) The gear is not firmly fixed and cannot keep the impeller synchronized;

(4) Bearing wear causes an increase in clearance.

Solution:

(1) Remove dirt and inspect the interior for damage;

(2) Adjust the gear clearance. If the gear side clearance is greater than the average value by 30% to 50%, the gear should be replaced;

(3) Reassemble the gears and maintain a taper fit with a contact area of 75%;

(4) Replace bearings;

2 Impeller and wall panel, impeller top and casing

Reason:

(1) Incorrect installation clearance;

(2) The operating pressure is too high, exceeding the specified value;

(3) Excessive operating temperature;

(4) Deformation of the casing or base, failure of fan positioning;

(5) Poor axial positioning of bearings.

Solution:

(1) Readjust the gap;

(2) Identify the cause of overload and reduce the pressure to the specified value;

(3) Check installation accuracy and reduce pipeline tension;

(4) Check and repair the bearings and ensure clearance.

3. Temperature too high

Reason:

(1) The oil in the fuel tank is too much, too thick, and dirty;

(2) Filter or muffler clogged;

(3) The pressure is higher than the specified value;

(4) Excessive wear and large clearance of the impeller;

(5) Poor ventilation, high indoor temperature, resulting in high inlet temperature;

(6) The running speed is too low, causing the belt to slip.

Solution:

(1) Reduce the oil level or contain oil;

(2) Remove blockages;

(3) Reduce the pressure difference through the Roots blower;

(4) Repair gaps;

(5) Opening ventilation openings to reduce room temperature;

(6) Increase the speed to prevent belt slipping.

fourRoots Blower Insufficient traffic

Reason:

(1) Inlet filtration blockage;

(2) Impeller wear and excessive increase in clearance;

(3) Belt slipping;

(4) Large inlet pressure loss;

(5) The pipeline causes ventilation leakage.

Solution

(1) Remove dust and blockages from the filter;

(2) Repair gaps;

(3) Tighten the belt and increase the number of pieces;

(4) Adjust the inlet pressure to reach the specified value;

(5) Inspect and repair the pipeline.

5. Oil leakage or oil leakage into the casing

Reason:

(1) The fuel tank is high and leaks out from the oil discharge port;

(2) Sealing wear, causing oil leakage at the shaft end;

(3) The pressure is higher than the specified value;

(4) The ventilation openings of the wall panel and fuel tank are blocked, causing oil leakage into the casing.

Solution:

(1) Lower the oil level;

(2) Replace the seal;

(3) Clear the air vent, install a cock with a 2mm aperture in the middle chamber, and open the cock under the wall panel;

6. Stop immediately due to abnormal vibration and noise

Reason:

(1) Rolling bearing clearance exceeds the specified value or bearing seat wear;

(2) Excessive gear backlash, misalignment, and loose fixation;

(3) Impact between impeller and casing caused by foreign objects and dust;

(4) Impeller collision caused by overload and shaft deformation;

(5) Friction between the impeller and the casing inlet due to overheating;

(6) Impeller imbalance due to scale or foreign objects;

(7) Loose foundation bolts and other fasteners.

Solution

(1) Replace bearings or bearing seats;

(2) Reassemble the gear and ensure side clearance;

(3) Clean the blower and check if the casing is damaged;

(4) Check the back pressure, check if the impeller is aligned, and adjust the clearance;

(5) Check the filter and back pressure, increase the clearance between the impeller and the casing inlet;

(6) Clean the impeller and casing to ensure the working clearance of the impeller;

(7) Tighten the foundation bolts and level the base.

sevenRoots Blower Motor overload

Reason:

(1) Compared with the specified pressure, the pressure difference is large, that is, the back pressure or inlet pressure is large and high;

(2) Compared with the required flow rate of the equipment, the flow rate of the Roots blower is too large, resulting in an increase in pressure;

(3) Inlet filtration blockage, outlet pipeline obstruction or blockage;

(4) Collision and friction (jamming) of rotating components;

(5) The oil level is too high;

(6) The narrow V-belt overheats, vibrates excessively, and the pulley is too small.

Solution:

(1) Reduce the pressure to the specified value;

(2) Put excess gas into the atmosphere or reduce the blower speed;

(3) Remove obstacles;

(4) Stop the machine immediately and check the cause;

(5) Adjust the oil level to the correct position;

(6) Check the belt tension and replace it with a large diameter pulley.
