The rainwater storage module is made of polypropylene material into grid shaped flat plates of different specifications and sizes. By assembling them into modular sized boxes, each box is stacked into a continuous rainwater "matrix" pool. Due to its grid like and transparent structure, the material structure occupies less than 5% of the space, which means that the storage space of the module reaches over 95%, and rainwater can freely exchange and flow in it. The rainwater storage module is directly installed below the ground, does not occupy surface space, has good concealment, can block sunlight, and the module material is reliable, which can store rainwater for a long time without deterioration. Modular combination assembly, simple, flexible, and structurally sturdy, with a single module bearing capacity of 30 tons/square meter, safe and reliable.
Installation process of rainwater storage module:
Foundation treatment → paving of non-woven fabric/HDPE geomembrane → positioning and stacking of modules → installation of drainage boards → connection of pipelines and modules → foundation backfilling and compaction → protection of finished products.
Working principle of rainwater storage module:
After rainwater falls to the ground, it undergoes initial interception and disposal treatment to intercept large suspended and floating objects in the rainwater, which can prevent blockage of water pumps, drainage pipes, and other treatment equipment. After rainwater is collected and stored in the module reservoir, it undergoes natural sedimentation to precipitate the suspended substances (mainly settling solids) in the rainwater under the action of gravity, thereby separating the rainwater and clarifying the water.
The rainwater stored in the rainwater storage module, after being filtered and disinfected by other rainwater treatment equipment, can be used for watering road surfaces, water features, and lawns. Rainwater can also be infiltrated through reservoirs to supplement groundwater resources and improve the ecological environment.
