Polyvinyl Butyral Resin (PVB) is a solvent based resin synthesized by the reaction of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and butyraldehyde in the presence of an acid catalyst. PVB has good film-forming properties, and the film formed by PVB has superior characteristics such as high transparency, elasticity, toughness, strong alkali resistance, oil resistance, flexibility, weather resistance, and low temperature impact resistance.
