1: The deionized water obtained using cation exchange resin can generally reduce the conductivity of the effluent to below 10us/cm after passing through, and then reach below 1us/cm after passing through a mixed bed. However, the water cost produced by this method is not high, but there are too many particulate impurities, which cannot meet the ideal requirements. Currently, it is less commonly used.
2: Pretreatment (i.e. sand carbon filter+precision filter)+reverse osmosis+mixed bed process
This method is currently widely used because the investment cost of reverse osmosis is not high. It can remove 90% of the ions in the water that have already been added, and the remaining ions can be removed through mixed bed exchange. This can increase the conductivity of the effluent to below 1 us/cm. This is currently a popular method.

3: Adopting a two-stage reverse osmosis method: the process is as follows:
Raw water → Multi media filter → Activated carbon filter → Water softener (or scale inhibitor) → Precision filter → Primary reverse osmosis → Dosing machine (pH regulation) → Intermediate water tank → Secondary reverse osmosis (positively charged reverse osmosis membrane) → Purified water tank → Pure water transfer pump → UV sterilizer → 0.22 or 0.5 μ M precision filter → water object;

4: The pre-treatment uses reverse osmosis, just like the D two methods, except that the mixed bed used later uses EDI continuous desalination membrane blocks instead, which eliminates the need for acid alkali regeneration resin and instead uses electrical regeneration. This completely makes the entire process pollution-free, and the treated water quality can reach over 15M. But this method requires a lot of upfront investment and low operating costs, so appropriate investments should be made according to the situation of each company. The process is as follows:
