The rotary drum precision filter is composed of equipment structure module, filtration module, driving system, backwash system, and automatic control system.
After the sewage enters the equipment, the automatic control system starts the drive system to drive the drum to rotate, and simultaneously starts the backwash system. Under the action of gravity, sewage flows out from the drum inside and outside, and the suspended solids in the water are intercepted by the filter screen inside the drum. The drum slowly rotates, and the backwash water pump extracts filtered water to backwash the filter screen. The washed dirt falls into the collection tank inside the drum and is discharged outside the equipment through a sewage pipe.
When sewage enters the equipment, the drive system and backwash system operate continuously without interruption.
The drum filter uses a stainless steel drum that can be rotated for filtration. There is a dense 316L stainless steel mesh on the outside of the drum. The drum can be driven by an electric motor through gears. There is a pressurized water pump composed of a plastic pump casing outside the drum filter box. The pressurized water pump is connected to a row of plastic nozzles. Inside the box, there are two water level controllers that can transmit signals to the control electrical box based on water level changes. The control center inside the electrical box will effectively control the relevant equipment. There is a larger diameter water inlet, a smaller diameter drainage outlet, and a sewage pipeline on the box. The drainage adopts the method of placing the water pump behind. All automatic devices of the drum filter are controlled by the control electric box outside the drum filter box.
The drum filter should be placed at a level with the water surface to be treated. Sewage flows into the drum of the drum filter by itself. After the drainage water pump is started, the water level outside the drum will decrease, and water will flow from the inside to the outside of the drum. The dirt in the water is intercepted by a stainless steel mesh. After running for a period of time, more and more dirt is intercepted by the stainless steel screen, which increases the resistance to water flow. However, the drainage flow has not decreased due to the stable operation of the water pump, resulting in a continuous decrease in the water level outside the drum. When the water level drops to the position where the water level controller is located, the water level controller will transmit an electrical signal to the control center, which will start the drum motor and pressurized water pump. The drum starts to rotate slowly, and at the same time, the high-pressure water pump pumps high-pressure water out of the nozzle. The high-pressure water washes away the dirt adhering to the screen, and the dirt is collected in the sewage collection tank inside the drum, and then discharged from the sewage pipe. Complete the process of solid-liquid separation.
