Many people do not know that PP board is called purification board because it has the advantages and practicality of purification board;
Advantages of PP board:
1. High hardness and melting point.
2. Lower thermal distortion temperature (100 ℃), low transparency, low glossiness, and low rigidity.
3. High impact strength, the strength of PP increases with the increase of ethylene content.
4. It has excellent resistance to moisture absorption, acid and alkali corrosion, and solubility.
5. The shrinkage rate of PP board is quite high. PP board is a semi crystalline material with a shrinkage rate of generally 1.8-2.5%. And the directional uniformity of shrinkage rate is much better than materials such as PE-HD.
6. The surface stiffness and scratch resistance characteristics are good. The PP board is modified by adding glass fiber, metal additives, or thermoplastic rubber, with a flow rate MFR range of 1-40. PP materials with low MFR have better impact resistance but lower ductility strength. Therefore, there is usually no environmental stress cracking problem with PP boards.
7. The surface of PP board is flat and smooth, with excellent properties such as high strength, high stiffness, high hardness, flame retardancy, insulation, moisture resistance, insulation, corrosion resistance, impact resistance, light resistance, non deformation, and leg color resistance.
