The results indicate that the use of geotextile mats for drainage can increase the depth of the infiltration surface and effectively control the infiltration surface; After the partial failure of the geotextile mat, the drainage effect slightly weakens. It is recommended to change the geotextile mat from laying 3 rows to laying 4 rows, while keeping the rest unchanged to better ensure the seepage stability of the tailings dam.
