The total nitrogen in water mainly comes from the decomposition products of nitrogen-containing organic compounds in domestic sewage by microorganisms, industrial wastewater such as coking synthetic ammonia, and agricultural drainage. When the total nitrogen content in water is high, it presents a toxic effect on fish and poses varying degrees of harm to humans. Measuring the total nitrogen content in water helps to evaluate the pollution and self purification status of water bodies, therefore total nitrogen is an important indicator to demonstrate water quality pollution. This analyzer can automatically and continuously operate for a long time based on on-site settings, and is widely applicable to industrial pollution source discharge of wastewater. Municipal sewage treatment plant sewage, environmental quality surface water, and other occasions. According to the complexity of on-site testing conditions, corresponding preprocessing systems can be selected to ensure the reliability of the testing process, accurate testing results, and fully meet the on-site needs of different occasions. Product principle: in the presence of Potassium persulfate, the nitrogen containing compounds in the water sample are all converted into nitrate nitrogen after high digestion, and cooled to room temperature to react with the indicator to generate a colored complex. The analyzer detects the change of this color and converts this change into total nitrogen value for output. The amount of colored complex generated is equivalent to the total nitrogen content. This method is applicable to wastewater with a total nitrogen range of (0-100) mg/L. Excessive calcium and magnesium ions, residual chlorine, or turbidity may interfere with measurement.
