SBS modified emulsified asphalt waterproof coating (also known as SBS rubber asphalt waterproof coating, roof king) is a high elasticity waterproof coating that uses SBS copolymer thermoplastic elastomer as a modifier to modify petroleum asphalt, and adds various auxiliary materials such as rubber, synthetic resin, surfactant, emulsifier, and mold inhibitor. 1. The surface of the base layer should be sturdy and free from sand. Before construction, the surface should be cleaned of soil, dust, laitance, and oil stains; Remove the protruding mortar blocks, and the concave areas should be embedded unevenly with polymer mortar.
2. Ingredients: Mix component B evenly first, and then mix the coating according to component A: component B=1:2 (weight ratio). Use a wooden rod or simple machine to stir the mixture evenly.
3. Application and brushing: Use a rubber scraper or large paint brush to scrape or brush the prepared batch onto the base layer, and the scraping or brushing should be as uniform as possible. Make the thickness of the formed coating as consistent as possible.
4. The construction amount is approximately 3-3.5m2. Scrape or apply in 2-3 batches, with an interval of about 24 hours, and should not be completed in one go to avoid uneven coating thickness caused by flowing. The thickness of the coating film should be 1.5-2mm to ensure the quality of the waterproofing project.
5. The waterproof layer of underground waterproofing engineering should be placed on the upstream surface as much as possible to avoid the waterproof layer being peeled off from the base layer due to high underground water pressure.
