WBFY201 Lab Plasma Cvd Solvent Microwave Liquid Synthesis Chemical Reactor
Microwave is a kind of electromagnetic wave with very short wavelength. Like radio wave, infrared ray and visible light, it belongs to electromagnetic wave. The frequency range of microwave is from 300MHz to 300kmhz, that is, the wavelength range is from 1mm to 1m.
Principle of microwave heating: microwave heating is to use microwave as a kind of energy. When microwave interacts with material molecules, molecular polarization, orientation, friction, collision and absorption of microwave energy will produce thermal effect. This heating method is called microwave heating. Microwave heating is the self heating of an object after absorbing microwave. It starts from the inside and outside of the object at the same time, and can be heated inside and outside at the same time.
Different materials have different microwave absorbing ability and different heating effect, which mainly depends on the dielectric loss of materials.
Characteristics of microwave heating:
1. Fast heating. Microwave energy propagates in the object at the speed of light (3 × 1010cm / s). In an instant (within 10-9s), microwave energy can be converted into the heat energy of the substance, and the heat energy can be permeated into the heated substance without heat conduction process.
2. Fast response ability. It can quickly start, stop and adjust the output power, with simple operation.
3. Heat evenly. Heat both inside and outside.
4. Selective heating. If the dielectric loss is large, the temperature will be high after heating, and vice versa.
5. High heating efficiency. There is no heat conduction process due to the heating of the object itself, so there is no heat loss in the surrounding air and heating box.
6. Strong heating penetration. Diathermy depth and wavelength are in the same order of magnitude, up to several centimeters to more than ten centimeters. Infrared heating is surface heating, and penetration depth is only in the order of micrometer.
