1、 Introduction to Hump Support:

The full name of stainless steel hump support is beam type gas jet packing support plate, also known as hump type packing support or hump support plate. The product can be processed from stainless steel 304, 304L, 321, 316, 316L, carbon steel, plastic polypropylene, glass fiber reinforced polypropylene, CPVC chlorinated polyvinyl chloride, and other materials to meet different temperature and chemical corrosion resistance requirements. The hump support can be a loose packing support plate with excellent comprehensive performance, which is composed of certain unit openings and corrugations according to the size of the tower diameter. The product is assembled with several supporting beam components. The three-dimensional structure of the support plate is conducive to increasing the opening area, so that the opening area is around. The principle of the opening area is that the opening rate must be greater than the porosity of the filler layer, otherwise the support plate forms a "bottle strength" area, reducing the tower load. 2、 The characteristics of hump support are:

(1) Good rigidity, allows for large loads, and can reliably withstand various pressures applied to it.

(2) Has excellent fluid mechanics performance. The gas and liquid flow channels are separated, and the gas phase is sprayed towards the packing layer through the side holes on the support plate. The liquid phase flows towards the lower packing layer through the holes at the bottom of the support plate, so the gas and liquid are unobstructed and evenly distributed. It can also avoid mutual entrainment between the gas and liquid, allowing for a large gas-liquid flux. The liquid spraying density can reach up to 240m3/m3/h, and the pressure drop during normal operation is about 62Pa, which is less than 200Pa.

(3) Filler particles or fragments are not easy to block the orifice. For fillers smaller than DN25, a layer of 300mm high large filler can be placed on the support plate first, and then small fillers can be stacked.

(4) Lightweight and material saving. It can be made of materials such as metal, plastic, ceramics, etc.

(5) The single combination structure facilitates installation from the manhole.

(6) The support plate of its three-dimensional structure is conducive to increasing the opening area, so that the opening area is mostly around. A layer of small-sized steel plate mesh can also be covered on the hump. For large towers with a diameter exceeding 3 meters, a beam should be machined in the middle to support them for rigidity.
