The structure of MGTS optical cable is to sleeve 250um optical fiber into a loose tube made of high modulus material, and the loose tube is filled with waterproof compound. The loose sleeve (and filling rope) is twisted around the center strengthening core to form a compact and circular cable core, and the gaps inside the cable core are filled with water blocking fillers. Double sided coated steel strip (PSP) is longitudinally wrapped and extruded with a layer of flame retardant sheath, followed by a layer of PVC sheath to form the cable.
