What are the processing methods of stainless steel pipe manufacturers?
Due to different usage scenarios and destinations, 304 stainless steel pipe manufacturers generally process 304 according to the actual market needs of users to ensure their continued use. At present, there are four common processing methods. Next, let me introduce which four processing methods are actually used.
1. Welding processing
Before welding processing, it is necessary to remove anything that is not conducive to welding. For example, moisture, paint, etc., and then spot welding. When removing welding slag, use a dedicated 304 stainless steel pipe brush. After all work is completed, the surface of the 304 stainless steel pipe must be polished or other treatments must be carried out to prevent a decrease in strength and corrosion resistance caused by welding.
2. Bending processing
Due to the special nature of users' use, sometimes 304 stainless steel pipes are bent, and generally, the large bending degree can reach 180 °.
3. Cutting processing
In order to meet the size requirements of the application scenario, cutting processing 304 should be carried out using plasma or laser equipment as much as possible. When electrical cutting is necessary, attention must be paid to the treatment of the cutting part.
4. Stamping processing
When stamping, 304 stainless steel pipes are stronger than ordinary materials, so greater pressure is required during stamping to avoid work hardening.
