Introduction to Ceramic Blades:

 

Ceramic blades (zirconia ZRO2) are developed and sintered using precision ceramics under high pressure, hence they are called ceramic knives. Ceramic knives, known as "aristocratic knives," are mostly made from a nano material called zirconia as a modern high-tech ceramic knife. From the discovery of zirconia in 1892 to its true application, it took only 15 years, and from the recognition of ceramic knives to industrial cutting applications, it took only 2 years. Using ZRO2 nanoscale (100nm) powder at a high temperature of 1750 degrees Celsius, press it onto a mold with a weight of 300 tons to form a tool blank, and then grind and cut it with a diamond grinding wheel to form a finished ceramic blade. Ceramic blades are a new type of blade, with a sharpness and service life 100 times that of high-speed steel blades in industrial applications, and more than 3-13 times that of tungsten carbide blades. Ceramic blades have the characteristics of high hardness, high density, high temperature resistance, anti magnetization, oxidation resistance, and no electrostatic loading.

In the modern cutting and cutting process, high-speed steel or hard alloy cutting tools are still used to improve processing efficiency. Traditional cutting tools, due to their limitations, are no longer capable of meeting the high requirements of modern technological development for cutting and cutting, such as burrs, edge warping, powder shedding, cut surface uniformity, and static electricity. However, ceramic cutting tools, with their excellent heat resistance, wear resistance, chemical stability, and no electrostatic loading, have shown unparalleled advantages in the field of high-speed cutting and cutting difficult to machine materials.
