Chain wheel blind valve is a type of gate valve that cuts off gas medium manually, electrically, or pneumatically or hydraulically. It is divided into short series and long series forms. The long series has expansion joints, and the medium flow direction should flow into the end without expansion joints (generally used in factory pipelines); Due to its novel structure, light weight, and small size, this valve is widely used in gas pipeline systems in industries such as metallurgy, chemical engineering, mining, petroleum, and machinery. The chain wheel blind valve has three driving devices, including two manual clamping or loosening devices and one electric device to open or close the gate. In opening or closing the gate, the two manual devices are first released, and then the electric device is activated, To achieve the purpose of opening or closing the gate (special attention: the two manual devices should not be released and the electric device should not be opened), after the gate is opened or closed, the two actuating devices should be clamped before the pipeline can proceed with work.
Product structure:
The blind valve is composed of left and right valve bodies, telescopic mechanisms, fan-shaped valve plates, electric push rods that drive the valve plates, and clamping and loosening electric push rods II.
Close valve:
The electric push rod II acts, the sealing pair disengages, and then the electric push rod I acts, causing the fan-shaped valve plate to move from open to closed. After it is fully closed, the electric push rod II acts in the opposite direction, clamping the sealing pair, and closing the valve. Opening the valve will cause the opposite.
Installation and operation methods:
1. Installation: The fan-shaped blind valve should have an axial displacement of 16-20mm in the open left and right valve bodies. Therefore, the pipeline should also have elastic deformation or displacement that meets the appeal displacement during the valve opening and closing process. The installation position of the sector blind valve is not specified when it can withstand external force from the pipeline and does not act on the valve.
2. Operation method: Use a wrench to rotate the three connecting screws counterclockwise in sequence to separate and balance the valve body and valve plate. After confirming the appropriate clearance (about 16mm), rotate the valve plate to the working position, and rotate the connecting screws in reverse to make the valve plate and valve body in close contact, achieving the purpose of sealing.
