Product Details
Fiber optic transmission refers to the transmission of data and signals using optical fibers as the medium. Optical fibers can not only be used to transmit analog and digital signals, but also meet the needs of video transmission. Transmission process
It is emitted by a light-emitting diode (LED) or an injection type laser diode (ILD) to propagate the optical signal along the optical medium, and at the other end, a PIN or APD photodiode acts as a detector to receive the signal. The modulation of optical carriers is called amplitude shift keying, also known as intensity modulation. A typical approach is to represent two binary digits with the appearance and disappearance of light at a given frequency. The signals of light-emitting diode LED and injection type laser diode ILD can be modulated using this method, and PIN and ILD detectors directly respond to brightness modulation.
