3. The reducer has a protective effect on the motor in transmission. During operation, the reducer bears a large torque. When overloaded, only the overload divided by the reduction ratio is transmitted to the motor. If directly borne by the motor, it may cause damage to the motor.

4. When the overload of the star type unloader is very large, the deceleration opportunity is damaged first, and the reducer can be restored to use only by replacing spare parts, which is relatively low in cost. If the motor is directly damaged, maintenance is relatively slow and high in cost.

5. When the motor is directly connected to the load for low-speed operation, in order to meet the output torque current, the motor will inevitably increase significantly, which will have higher requirements for heat dissipation and insulation of the motor.
