The design of Zhengfei Company's anti-static work clothes has the characteristics of low static electricity and low friction, and forms a Faraday cage around the staff's body and arms to protect ESD sensitive items from the static electricity field generated on the operator's clothes. The function of anti-static clothing is to reduce the potential electrostatic field on the work clothes. All anti-static work clothes comply with the requirements of ANSI/ESD S20.20 for electrostatic grounding control clothing systems.
Different anti-static work clothes are made of anti-static fabrics of different materials and colors. The fabric yarn contains a certain proportion of conductive yarn. Eliminate static electricity on clothing through the corona discharge and leakage effects of conductive fibers. Therefore, the conductivity of electrostatic work clothes produced from anti-static fabrics is stable and does not change with the washing frequency of the clothing. All seams in the work clothes are designed in accordance with the ESD Association Clothing Standard ESD-STM2.1 to maintain electrical continuity between pieces and between sleeves.

ESD work suit testing:
The most important aspect of testing anti-static work clothes is the measurement of sleeves to sleeves. This test is used to confirm the electrical continuity between the clothing surface and the sleeve components. At a minimum, the ESD work suit must be dissipative (surface resistivity<1 x 10 ^ 11 ohms). This test can be conducted using a surface resistance tester, which places a 5-pound electrode on different pieces of work clothes to quickly measure the resistance of the clothes and ensure the conductivity of the pieces to pieces.
To ensure low friction of the fabric, an electrostatic field meter can be used to measure the charges generated due to contact and separation with other materials. In addition, an electrostatic field meter can demonstrate shielding by measuring charged objects and then covering them with anti-static work clothes. When shielded, the measured charge should be greatly reduced.
It is recommended to regularly test ESD jackets as wear and washing can affect ESD performance over time.

The correct method for cleaning anti-static work clothes is to wash them with cold or warm water, dry them with low heat, or hang them to dry. Do not bleach your electrostatic clothing! Ensure that only non ionic softeners and detergents are used during washing.
