Overview
Product Details
Aluminum silicon carbide is a ceramic silicon carbide particle reinforced aluminum matrix composite material (also known as aluminum infiltrated silicon carbide). In a vacuum environment, aluminum liquid is infiltrated into the silicon carbide preform under pressure, causing changes in the microstructure of the alloy and causing changes in the alloy properties, thereby significantly improving the strength and other properties of the composite material.
Aluminum silicon carbide has the advantages of low density (less than 3.1g/cm3), high strength, high specific modulus, low expansion coefficient, and high dimensional stability. Compared with some traditional materials, aluminum silicon carbide composite materials have superior performance and can replace various traditional materials. They are widely used in fields such as microwave integrated circuits, power modules, micro processor covers, and heat dissipation plates.
